About Claire Gagnon
Born and raised in Quebec, Canada, I reconnected with my artist's roots in 1996 when I started studying drawing and painting with Micheline Raymond. I graduated from her school in 1999. Already a colorist myself, I have learned how to push each color further, adding more contrast and creating paintings with a deeper impact. ...

Claire Gagnon replied:
Hi Cathy, When I painted this painting, I did not realize the importance of the title to my paining. But as soon as a collector purchased the painting for the title, I knew. I looked at your artwork. I love the aerial views of Hatteras.
